Our starting rotation for 2018 (so far):

Masahiro Tanaka
Gerrit Cole
Garrett Richards
Robbie Ray
Anthony Banda

Just our pitchers named Gerrit/Garrett are worth more than yours.

Sorry to hijack your thread... but Gray > Cole... and with Richards injury history I question what his projection is going to look like.

Question away.

And maybe Gray > Cole.   But I'll take any 3 of my pitchers over any 5 of yours.

Don't worry Mark, I think you'll still get a wild card.

So you are writing off LAD or you think both wild cards come from the west?

I mean, I haven't thought that hard about wild cards.  Because, why should I?

Yea I wouldn't think about the Wild Cards either... the NL West doesn't typically have any representative in that game anyway. And for sure at least one spot will be reserved for an NL Central team...if not both.

Couldn't agree more.  Take that WC talk to LA and Colorado.

LOL... in the NSBL, we've run 15 seasons not. Not once has an AL Wild Card come out of our Central division. Always the East or West. I don't know if the continuance of that makes it funnier or more depressing.

Part of me is happy that I should be considered a front-runner for one of the wild-card spots for the third year in a row... the other part is sad that I likely won't take you out for the division.
2016: 94-68 (WC, World Series Champ)
2017: 89-73 (WC)
2018: 101-61 (NL Central Champ)

Totals: 284-202 (2x WC, 1x Division Champ, 1x World Series Champ)

Hey it could happen. But one thing we can both agree on is that the Diamondbacks ain't taking either of us out!

I just now realized that Arizona was a last place team for two straight years before I took them over.  And they didn't even draft well.  I am somehow even MORE impressed with myself than before.

The first half of this tweet did not age well.  The second half is like a fine wine.
