Not happy with this 5-5 start.  Most the team isn't hitting, but here's the oddest stat of the day:  Dellin Betances, my all world closer, is 0-3 with 2 blown saves, and an ERA over 12.  Osuna also has two blown saves, and Loup, who isn't even designated as my closer (I have 3 of them listed), has 2 saves.  I also managed to lose Knebel basically all of last week.

The good news is everyone in the AL Central is off to a slow start.

This is a terrible start for me.  I'm not panicking yet, but I will be soon.

The underlying stats aren't terrible, my pitching staff has been "ok", but Arenado and Ramirez are not hitting, and it's killing my team, along with some bad outings from some of my bullpen.

The other thing that is kinda annoying early is that I'm 1-4 in one run games.  I didn't build up the back of my pen for these results.

There's really only 2-3 teams off to nice starts.

Oh, I'm well aware of how early it is, but as I said, Betances has been awful thus far, and the one run games are annoying more than anything.

Usually, over time, those things balance out, but in the DMB, every year teams and players get odd results.

Funny how a guy can get a re-sim after I sweep him, and now I'm 1-9.

I'm not going to be very happy about that for a while.

Really didn't expect to be 3-7 after 10 games, but it'll balance out.

Also off to a meh start, although I hate losing 2/3 to DET.  Marlin, you are 2-4 in 1 run games, (I'm 1-2), that's one of the first things I look at too.  4-4 overall, all in division.  Should be a good division, and we're a week into the season.

My team is hitting .197.  My bullpen has also been pretty rough- 4 of my highest 5 ERAs are RPs.  The SPs have been good so far, outside of Peacock.  He has a unique line so far- 7.2IP, 12H, 8ER, 4BB, 14K, 4HR.  Strike 'em out or give up homers I guess...

You're correct, Jim.  I was looking at the game results, and missed a game.  I think with my bullpen, I should be really good in one run games long term.

Idk how the other teams will fare in the division, but I fully expect to go toe to toe with you all year long.  I still think you're the 1st place team with that rotation, but as I said, weird things always happen in the sims every year to some players (good or bad), and some teams (good or bad).

We'll see.  Should be fun, and I figure at least one more ALC team will be in the mix too.  (Minny?)

You and me both my friend. Not on the 1-9 record, but might as well be

Cannot complain about an 8-2 start with Kershaw pitching only 1 inning so far this year.

Canít expect this to keep up with a -12 run differential and only 31 runs scored on the year so far.

Chris Sale has been lighting it up at least and if you subtract Yarbrough out of my pen, my guys have a combined 2.79 ERA. Given this is a very mediocre pen though, Iím not gonna get my hopes up.
