I wasn't expecting to acquire a pair of 3rds at the last minute.  I wasn't even sure if I'd get one of them, but now that I have them I fully expect the next round (1/2 of the 2nd, and 1/2 of the 3rd) to be brutal, as I'm sure many of my targets will disappear.  :)

I'll do my best to pick one of them with my early 3rd ;)

Well, if going from 1.21 to 2.7 was any indication, I have no doubt someone will take ALL 10 guys, or 20 guys on my list.  :)

I feel ya. I basically have 4 on my list for 3.8 with a long way to go (and two Jim picks ahead of me, which means 2 of those WILL be taken)...we'll see if one of them makes it.

I'll do my best Mickey and Marlin.  I have 2 guys I like right now, and 3 picks in front of me, so I'll probably get sniped too.

I'm not sweating it.  I'm about 25 picks away.  Just hoping to see some posted over the weekend to get me closer.

Grrr Paul. Wendzel was my backup at 2.03, and was really hoping hed still be there at 2.26. Its one thing to see a guy you like taken, a whole other level when its to a division rival!

Anyone going to watch any of the College WS today?

As I mentioned before, I have a buddy who lives just a stone's throw away from Omaha, and he goes to some of the games every year.

I wanted to go this year, but wasn't able to, and of course Michigan actually made it in.

It would've been cool to see, even though I fully admit I follow football and basketball.  Baseball, not so much.

First time they made it to the College WS since Barry Larkin was there.

I'd love to watch it, but it's too nice outside. Hate sitting inside on such nice days.
2016: 94-68 (WC, World Series Champ)
2017: 89-73 (WC)
2018: 101-61 (NL Central Champ)

Totals: 284-202 (2x WC, 1x Division Champ, 1x World Series Champ)

Yeah, unfortunately, Michigan has been bombarded with rain the last 2 1/2 months.  Today it isn't raining yet, but its supposed to be soon.  So, I'm not getting anything done outside.

Same here in Sterling Heights! Unfortunately we have a grad party and a birthday party this afternoon though. 😕

I had no idea you lived that close, Adam.  I'm in Clinton Township.  I hope you have tents set up, or plenty of room indoors.

No kidding? I didnt know/remember that you were that close either. Were near Clinton River and Schoenherr. Maybe well have to have EC meetings in person from now on. As far as the parties go, fortunately one is indoors and the other is under a large pavilion (K of C picnic grounds in Utica.)
