2021 A+ C #1 Star is West Michigan's Lindsay

He may have less experience than most of his High-A Central peers, but that didn't slow Desmond Lindsay down at all in 2021.
At the age of 24, the West Michigan left fielder has been named the winner of the High-A Central Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .313 batting average and a .449 on-base percentage this year. In 95 games he piled up 100 hits, 22 doubles, 3 triples, 15 home runs, 60 RBIs and 57 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Mariel Bautista of the South Bend Cubs finished second in voting, while Conner Capel of the South Bend Cubs finished third.
